Engagi Lodge is a mid-range accommodation that is situated in the breathtaking setting of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, providing stunning views of the dense forest canopy. Engagi Lodge is set on a huge tract of land near the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Engagi Lodge is built with local materials and local talent. Engagi Lodge was built with rock-sourced materials collected on-site, strong and large eucalyptus trees, and banana-thatched African-style rooms sourced locally from local farmers.

Engagi Lodge’s main lodge building is separated into a bar and sitting area, and the dining room with a big outdoor verandah offers the viewing platform. Engagi Lodge is spacious enough to cater to larger groups as well.

Engagi Lodge has 8 en-suite cottages that are spacious and hidden in the foliage of Bwindi. Each cottage ranges from double to twin beds, and rooms offer bathrooms with fully flushing toilets and hot and cold running showers. All the rooms have private verandahs where tourists can relax with a morning cup of tea or coffee as they view the forest canopy of Bwindi.

The Engagi Lodge’s kitchen is built far away from the lodge’s common area to ensure maximum privacy. Serving three-course meals and meeting tourists’ requirements are more important, and vegetarians are well catered for by the lodge’s experienced team.
