Budongo Eco Lodge is perched in the heart of Budongo Forest Reserve. Budongo Forest Reserve is part of Murchison Falls National Park, Budongo Eco Lodge offers an excellent and affordable accommodation facility in the middle of Uganda’s finest and most beautiful tropical rainforest. Budongo Forest is a prime example of incredibly rich biodiversity, harboring over 9 different species of primates, 290 different butterfly species, and 360 bird species.
Budongo eco-lodge offers accommodation that comprises six intimate eco- and Log-cabins; each of them is built in the forest aiming at maximum privacy; each room is fitted with 2x double-size Beds or 1x king-size bed; a spacious sitting area with a Day bed; each cabin has an en-suite with hot and cold running showers; an urban ash-based eco-loo; and a unique private veranda that overlooks Budongo forest.
Budongo Ecolodge offers a maximum of four dormitory rooms, with each room fitted with two bunk beds for a maximum of four people per room and shared outside bathroom facilities available for all. All our beds are fitted with large mosquito nets.
Budongo eco-lodge has a spacious lounge fitted with comfortable chairs, well-stocked bars, and a terrace restaurant—the finest place to refresh yourself with both cold, hard, soft, and hot drinks before or after the travelers’ forest activities. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas.
